Tracey West is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC®) with nearly 22 years of experience in the financial services industry. Licensed as an advisor since 2004, she provides comprehensive, planning-focused financial advice to individuals, families, and business owners across Newfoundland and Labrador, with her practice rooted in Labrador.
Tracey’s work is grounded in a financial planning approach that integrates cash flow management, risk and insurance planning, investment strategy, retirement planning, tax considerations, and estate planning. Her goal is to help clients make informed decisions within the context of a structured financial plan that supports long-term financial sustainability and clarity around their goals.
She works closely with individuals and families at all life stages, helping them build financial strategies that support retirement readiness, wealth accumulation, and financial protection. Tracey also has a strong focus on supporting business owners and their organizations. Her work with businesses includes designing group benefits and group retirement programs for employees, as well as advising business owners on personal and corporate financial planning, risk management, succession planning, and tax-efficient strategies such as corporately owned life insurance.
Tracey is an Investment Representative with Quadrus Investment Services Ltd., working with a range of investment solutions while focusing on cost efficiency, diversification, and long-term suitability within a client’s overall financial plan. Planning strategies are supported by professional financial planning software to help illustrate long-term outcomes and assist clients in making informed decisions.
Based in Labrador West, Tracey operates a fully functioning advisory office and serves clients both in person and virtually throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. Her practice is supported by a dedicated team including Sarah, Operations Manager and Client Relations; Katherine, Customer Service and Reception; and her son Kyle, who is currently training to become an advisor as part of a structured long-term continuity and succession plan.
Tracey works with a diverse client base including individuals, families, business owners, people living with disabilities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, Indigenous peoples and communities, and new Canadians. She is known for her approachable style and commitment to building long-term relationships through thoughtful financial planning and professional guidance.
Deeply connected to Labrador and its communities, Tracey believes strongly in service, leadership, and community engagement. She is the recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of her service to her community. Tracey currently serves as Chair of the Community Business Development Bank(CBDC) Labrador and has volunteered in various capacities with organizations throughout her community and region.
